If you are a traveler, a cruiser, an
Expat, digital nomad or a snowbird, you need
Traveling Mailbox.
With Traveling Mailbox (and an active
internet connection) you can access your postal mail from anywhere in the
world via a Desktop Computer, Laptop, Phones and Tablets powered by
Android, iPhone’s, and iPad’s.
It's so easy!
You can choose your physical street
address (not a PO Box) from any one of their 20+ available addresses.
You don't necessarily have to pick an address that is in your State where
you live or one that is the closest to you. You can even have multiple
addresses (but additional fees and restrictions may apply).
If you need to add more people to your
account so that they can receive their mail at your mailbox, or if you want
to add your business to your account, you can do so. Each plan includes a
certain number of recipients which may include your spouse, other
individuals, family members or your business.
In our case, we have been traveling for
over three decades and we have utilized a postal service for all this
time. Our previous mail forwarding service was not digital, and when they
began raising their fees each year plus charging for postage, the envelope
and mail forwarding, we searched elsewhere. We discovered that
Traveling Mailbox has
the lowest fees in the industry, and has unlimited phone support
included in the price.
When we receive mail to our address in
the States, Traveling Mailbox sends us an email alert and asks us what we would
like to do. We can choose to have it forwarded to any address in the
world, including a hotel, coffee shop or vacation spot, have them scan
the mail so that we may view it online, or we can instruct them to
shred it.
There are three plans from which to
choose, each with a different number of scans provided, and a certain
number of recipients allowed on the address. Ours is the basic plan, for $15
per month. In this plan we are allowed 40 incoming envelopes, 35 scans a
month and three different recipients able to utilize the address.
Another very popular feature with
Traveling Mailbox is
their check deposit service. In this way, you can continue to travel and
let Traveling Mailbox deposit your checks directly to your bank to be
deposited. They usually arrive and are deposited in your bank account within
2-3 days of them shipping your check.
If you would like
physical copies of your mail or a package from Amazon forwarded to you
anywhere, Traveling Mailbox will ship it to you.
There are other features
that are attractive as well, for instance, you can create folders in your
account to sort your mail so that it stays organized while you travel. And
of course, Traveling Mailbox doesn't bother you with any junk mail - isn't
that great?
If you decide that you
need a physical letter sent to a business or government agency, you can
upload your letter document from your inbox. Traveling Mailbox will print
your letter (and photo if you want) and send this letter for you to the
address you have chosen. (Modest fees will apply)
If you need support in
any of these features, there is Live phone, Chat, and Email 7 days a
week! We have used these support features ourselves when we have had
questions, and they are very prompt and professional in their response.
So, if you plan to do serious travel in your
retirement, or if you want to house sit or be footloose for a while,
Traveling Mailbox could
be the service for you!
From our experience, we
recommend it! To find out more,
