Pappy's
Bar-b-Que
Antigua, Guatemala
Billy and Akaisha Kaderli
Located on the corner of 6a
Avenida Sur and 6a calle Poniente in
Antigua, Guatemala, Pappy's BBQ is some of
the best we have ever had. Owned by a young man named Blake who is from
Austin,
Texas, he knows his way around a smoker. Every day ribs, brisket, and chicken
are smoked in the old fashioned manner of American southern heritage. What sells
out that day is sold out, nothing is carried forward to the following day.
Three meat plate of
pulled pork, chicken wings, and ribs with cole slaw and Texas baked beans
Tantalizing and tender,
portions are abundant. You have your choice of beef brisket, pulled pork, ribs,
whole chicken, tangy BBQ wings, sausages, burgers and a collection of
sandwiches. Other than the burgers and sandwiches, everything is available to
purchase by the pound.
