years ago we produced this video:
Adventures in Financial
Independence where we listed our annual spending and daily
average. We like to keep up to date with our Readers as to what
our current spending is and as of the end of 2015,
our average spending for 25 years of financial independence or
9125 days, is $22,109 annually or $60.57 per day. This is an
increase of .19 cents per day over 2014 spending figures.
speaking, we have been living in cost beneficial countries such as
Guatemala, Mexico, Vietnam, and Thailand more often than in the
prior years, thus positively affecting our numbers. We
self-insure for health care, taking advantage of medical
services in the countries we are visiting. We have also
cashed in some of our accumulated airline miles for travel which
has saved us a considerable amount on transportation. We do house sitting
from time to time
which has helped with housing costs.
We continue to eat
well, live and travel comfortably and make visits to the States
to see family.
If we can do it, you can too!
